Main Bathroom

This is an older home, with a smaller bathroom. Not much you can do about that space unless you break into another room, and that just not fair to the walls that are already there. I loved the art in the shower when we started cleaning up…but if anyone has suggestions on how to get the orange person off the shower…that would be GREAT. I’ve tried everything…even straight bleach.

I don’t know how I missed getting a picture of the random cabinets above the shower. You will see the pink from the original walls in later pictures after they got taken down. The vanity and mirror were removed. The new vanity found on Facebook Marketplace for $20 was sanded down and painted Compelling like the bottom kitchen cabinets and wall in the Master. The faucet and hardware were spray painted black and bronze for a oil rubbed bronze finish which turned out amazing. The medicine cabinet was replaced with a large circle mirror found on sale at TJMaxx.

The walls are painted Silvery Moon and to color match the ceiling, we painted the entire ceiling pure white with the mold and mildew resistant door and trim paint. The cabinets above the shower were cut into the wall, so we do need to finish off one small corner and the bathroom will be all finished. The new vanity was supposed to be smaller, to give the bathroom a larger feeling, however, it ended up being the same width and about three inches higher than the last vanity. This led to just a few extra bits of work. The light above the vanity was painted to match and new bulbs with the fun fillements were installed after spraying the brass with black and bronze paint.

GORGEOUS!
